The Roman Road
Have you heard of the Roman Road? It's an evangelistic tool, using key verses
from the book of Romans. These verses can help you share your faith in Jesus.
At the beginning of the book of Romans (and at the front of my Bible) I wrote
Romans 3:10. Then next to that verse, I've written, Romans 3:23. Next to
Romans 3:23, I've written the next verse, Romans 6:23, and so on. Now I am
able to share the Roman Road from my own Bible with anyone, at anytime! You
can also write these verses in the notes app on your your smart phone
Bible app!
Make a Roman Road Scroll
What You Need: Burlap, a stick or dowel,
various colors of yarn, jute, glue, stapler, and the Roman Road Scripture
verses.
What
you do: Print out the Roman
Road Scripture Verses.
(Optional: Copy the verses onto parchment-type paper.) Glue the verses onto a
piece of burlap. Decorate the edges of the burlap with different colors of
yarn. Draw swirled designs with the tip of your glue bottle, then lay the yarn
into the glue. (I drew leaf and flower designs with the glue, then laid the
appropriate colored yarn on top.) Wrap the burlap around the stick and staple
the top of the burlap to the back of the burlap.
If you are making a scroll, roll from both ends to the center and tie closed
with the jute. If you're making a wall hanging, tie the jute to both ends of
the stick and hang on a wall.
