First watch our short Psalm 139 video for Kids!
Read: “Lord, You know everything about me. You are all around me — in front and in back — and You have put Your hand on me. Where can I go to get away from You? If I go up to heaven, You are there. If I go down to the deep, You are there too. Even the darkness is not dark to You.” — Psalm 139:1, 5, 7–8, 12
Memory Verse
“You are all around me—in front and in back—and You have put Your hand on
me” — Psalm 139:5 (ICB).
TALK ABOUT IT
God knows everything about you — when you sit, when you sleep, when you feel happy, and when you feel sad. He even knows your thoughts before you speak them! But the most amazing part? He stays close to you no matter where you go.
You can’t hide from God — not in the dark, not under the covers, not even on the far side of the world.
Why? Because He loves you so much that He always wants to be near.
When you kneel and pray before bed, you’re never alone. God is listening, watching over you, and filling the room with His gentle light — even in the darkest night.
Let's Pray
"Dear God, Thank You for knowing everything about me and still loving me.
Thank You for staying with me wherever I go — in the day, in the dark, and in my dreams. Help me remember You’re always near.
Amen."
Discussion
1. What does it mean that God knows everything about you?
(Can you think of something God knows about you right now?)
2. Have you ever felt alone or scared?
(How does it help to know that God is always with you — even in the dark?)
3. How does it feel to know God knows your thoughts and dreams? (Is that scary or comforting?)
4. Why do you think God still loves us even when we make mistakes?
5. What is one way you can follow God’s good way?
6. What would you like to say to God?
