What you'll need: Craft foam (black and assorted bright colors), scissors, glue, cord.
What you do: Using the black craft foam, cut out a cross or
other Christian symbol (approximately 3" x 4"). Cut the bright colored foam into small pieces, varying the shapes and sizes. Arrange the pieces in a manner pleasing to the eyes so that they'll fit onto the cross. Lift the pieces one by one and glue them to the cross. To
make a necklace, leave room at the top to punch a hole, and then string through with a
cord.
Life Application
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his
purpose" Romans 8:28.
When we look at the broken and torn mosaic pieces, before they are placed together, they don't look very appealing. But when the artist's hands place them together, the beauty of the mosaic can be seen. In the same way, God can use the broken pieces of our lives to form a thing of beauty and make us useful for his purpose and Kingdom!
